The department of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Chicago came to the PSD Graphic Arts requesting a mark that could function similarly to a logo, however could not be a logo per regulations of the university.
The client came to us with a request to call upon reference images they provided of outer space in the creation of the design. The final design chosen was my own design, which closely referenced one of these images.
